The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 1 1/4" plain flange set is compatible with 1 1/4" PVC pressure pipe. It is not compatible with metric PVC pressure pipes or fittings. 1 1/4" pipe actually has an outside diameter of 42.2mm.

1 1/4" pipes (measuring 42.2mm outer diameter) will slot inside the socket ends of this flange set to be solvent welded.
