Thread Measurements
The inch label for threads in imperial and metric fittings do not match the inches on a ruler.
The measurements of this thread are:

The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.
The temperature derating table of this fitting is as follows:
PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).
This 1/4" MBSP plug is compatible with 1/4" female BSP threaded fittings, which will thread onto the male BSP end. It is not compatible with metric PVC pressure pipes or plain fittings; however, it is compatible with the 1/4" female BSP threaded end of a metric plain to threaded fitting.
