The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual
pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the
'de-rating multiple', as explained on our

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).
This 1 1/2" plain spigot to reinforced FBSP adaptor is compatible with 1 1/2" PVC plain socket-ended fittings, and
1 1/2" BSP male threaded fittings. It is not compatible with metric PVC pressure pipes or plain fittings;
however, it is compatible with the 1 1/2" male threaded end of a metric plain to threaded fitting. 1 1/2"
pipe actually has an outside diameter of 48.3mm.
This 1 1/2" plain spigot (measuring 48.3mm outer diameter) to reinforced FBSP adaptor will slot inside the socket end
of a 1 1/2" fitting to be solvent welded. 1 1/2" male BSP threaded fittings will thread into the female threaded
end of this adaptor.
