The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

The temperature derating table of this fitting is as follows:

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 63mm x 50mm plain reducing socket is compatible with 63mm PVC pressure pipe or spigot fittings and 50mm PVC pressure pipe or spigot fittings. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

63mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 63mm outer diameter) will slot inside the 63mm end of this reducing socket. 50mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 50mm outer diameter) will slot inside the 50mm socket end of this reducing socket.
