The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

The temperature derating table of this fitting is as follows:

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 140mm plain 90° elbow is compatible with 140mm PVC pressure pipe and spigot fittings. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

140mm pipes or spigot fittings (measuring 140mm outer diameter) will slot inside the ends of this 90° elbow to be solvent welded.
