Plastic Pipe Shop Ltd is an
ecommerce business based in Stirling, specialising primarily in the supply of
industrial thermoplastic pipe systems to industry, but has also seen recent
success in supplying the same products to the retail sector such as for aquarium,
pool and hobbycraft users. "How to" and "Product
description" type videos form an important part of the marketing mix for
the company, however these have, in the last two years taken a back seat as the
company has grown and resources have been directed elsewhere.
We are now looking to redress that and employ an intern for the summer to join our happy little team, whose role it will be to produce a series of short engaging videos for uploading to Youtube which will showcase individual products and provide a library of "how to" videos for our customers.
You will be given a lot of autonomy in the role and you will be responsible for choosing and making any sets / backdrops required, planning, shooting, editing and producing the videos in the required formats. This will include videos for our main site plasticpipeshop.co.uk and also our new site, targeted at the hobbycraft market pvcpipeprojects.co.uk which is nearing completion and expected to be fully functioning by the end of April 2018.
The position will suit someone with a sound knowledge and experience of video production and also an understanding of how the videos will sit in our business marketing mix.
This is a full time position over the summer however start and finish dates can be flexible to fit in with term dates. We can also be flexible for time off during the summer for any pre-planned holidays or trips.
Plastic Pipe Shop are an equal opportunities employer and a member of the Real Living Wage Foundation. Please note however that preference will be given to non-smokers.
