Metric PVC Plain to Threaded Double Union Ball Valve

All our threaded valves are BSP Tapered Female threads. The reason for supplying tapered threads is that most of the fittings that are threaded into valves, such as hosetails, compression fittings, camloks and other pvc fittings themselves, are usually male tapered BSP threads. Applying a tapered thread to another tapered thread gives a much better seal than a taper to a parallel.

If you require to fit a parallel thread into a valve, we suggest that you will get the best seal, using a parallel thread. Our advice is to purchase a plain valve and a spigot to female parallel thread connection - here's the link.

Remember, a double union ball valve is designed to let you take the end off anyway, so if you are threading pvc fittings into it - we've put a video on our youtube channel to show this.
