The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

The temperature derating table of this fitting is as follows:

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 90mm x 2 1/2" plain to threaded FBSP reducing bush is compatible with 90mm PVC plain socket-ended fittings and 2 1/2" BSP male threaded fittings. The solvent weld end is not compatible with inch PVC socket-ended fittings. The BSP female threaded end is compatible with BSP male threads on both inch and metric fittings. 2 1/2" pipe actually has an outside diameter of 75.2mm.

The 90mm spigot end (measuring 90mm outside diameter) of this plain to threaded reducing bush will slot inside the socket end of a 90mm fitting to be solvent welded. 2 1/2" male BSP threaded fittings will thread into the female threaded end of this reducing bush.
