The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 75mm x 50mm plain reducing bush is compatible with 75mm PVC pressure socket fittings, and 50mm PVC pressure pipe or spigot fittings. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

The 75mm outer diameter of this reducing bush will slot inside the socket end of a plain 75mm fitting. 50mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 50mm outer diameter) will slot inside the 50mm socket end of this reducing bush.
