The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

The temperature derating table of this fitting is as follows:

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 75mm to 2 1/2" plain to threaded coupler is compatible with 75mm and 2 1/2" PVC pressure pipe and spigot fittings, and the 2 1/2" BSP male threaded end of imperial and metric fittings.

75mm or 2 1/2" pipes or spigot fittings (both measuring 75mm outer diameter) will slot inside the plain end of this socket to be solvent welded. 2 1/2" male BSP fittings will thread into the female threaded end of this socket.
