The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 63mm x 40mm plain reducing bush is compatible with 63mm PVC pressure socket fittings, and 40mm PVC pressure pipe or spigot fittings. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

The 63mm outer diameter of this reducing bush will slot inside the socket end of a plain 63mm fitting. 40mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 40mm outer diameter) will slot inside the 40mm socket end of this reducing bush.
