The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual
pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the
'de-rating multiple', as explained on our
PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).
This 63mm x 2" plain to MBSP hosetail is compatible with 63mm ID flexible hoses, and
2" BSP female threaded fittings. The barbed end is not compatible with metric or imperial
fittings. The BSP male threaded end is compatible with BSP female threads on both inch and metric
fittings.
The 63mm barbed end (measuring 63mm outside diameter) of this plain to MBSP hosetail will slot inside a
flexible suction and delivery hose measuring 63mm internal diameter. An adjustable hose clip will
secure the hose to the hosetail. The 2" male BSP threaded end will thread into 2" female
threaded fittings.
