The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 50mm plain flange set is compatible with 50mm PVC pressure pipe. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

50mm pipes (measuring 50mm outer diameter) will slot inside the socket ends of this flange set to be solvent welded.
