The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 40mm x 25mm plain reducing tee is compatible with 40mm and 25mm PVC pressure pipe and spigot fittings. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

40mm pipes or spigot fittings (measuring 40mm outer diameter) will slot inside the larger branched ends of this reducing tee to be solvent welded, and 25mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 25mm outer diameter) will slot inside the smaller branched end to be solvent welded.
