The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 3" : 90mm plain adaptor socket is compatible with 3" PVC pressure pipe and spigot fittings, and 90mm PVC pressure pipe and spigot fittings. 3" pipe actually has an outside diameter of 88.9mm.

3" pipes or spigot fittings (measuring 88.9mm outer diameter) will slot inside one end of this socket to be solvent welded, and 90mm pipes or spigot fittings will slot inside the other end.
