The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 25mm x 20mm plain reducing socket is compatible with 25mm PVC pressure pipe or spigot fittings and 20mm PVC pressure pipe or spigot fittings. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

25mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 25mm outer diameter) will slot inside the 25mm end of this reducing socket. 20mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 20mm outer diameter) will slot inside the 20mm socket end of this reducing socket.
