The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 25mm plain stub flange is compatible with 25mm PVC pressure pipe, 25mm backing rings, and 25mm stub gaskets. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.

25mm pipes (measuring 25mm outer diameter) will slot inside the socket end of this stub flange to be solvent welded. 25mm backing rings will slot over the socket end to be bolted to other backing rings or full face flanges. 25mm stub gaskets will fit against the flat back of this stub flange to be used with the backing rings to create a seal.
