The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual
pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the
'de-rating multiple', as explained on our
PVC category page.
The temperature derating table of this fitting is as follows:
PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).
This 20mm x 20mm plain spigot hose connector is compatible with 20mm PVC pressure socket fittings, and
20mm ID flexible hose. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.
The 20mm outer diameter on the spigot end of this spigot hose connector will slot inside the socket end of
a plain 20mm fitting. 20mm ID flexible hose will push over the 20mm barbed end of this spigot hose
connector and be secured by adjustable hose clips.
