The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

This 16mm x 12mm plain reducing bush is compatible with 16mm PVC pressure socket fittings, and 12mm PVC pressure pipe or spigot fittings. It is not compatible with imperial PVC pressure pipes or fittings.
The 16mm outer diameter of this reducing bush will slot inside the socket end of a plain 16mm fitting. 12mm pipe or spigot fittings (measuring 12mm outer diameter) will slot inside the 12mm socket end of this reducing bush.
