The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 1" : 32mm plain spigot hose adaptor is compatible with 1" PVC plain socket-ended fittings, and 32mm ID flexible hose. 1" pipe actually has an outside diameter of 33.4mm.

The 1" plain spigot end (measuring 33.4mm outer diameter) of this fitting will slot inside the socket end of a 1" fitting to be solvent welded. The 32mm barbed end of this fitting will slot inside a 32mm ID flexible hose to be secured by hose clips.
