The pressure rating of PVC pipe and fittings reduces with increasing temperature. To calculate the actual pressure rating of the product at each temperature, the noted pressure rating must be multiplied by the 'de-rating multiple', as explained on our PVC category page.

PVC pipe has a recommended operating temperature of 0 - 60° centigrade (32 - 140°F).

This 1" : 32mm plain adaptor socket is compatible with 1" PVC pressure pipe and spigot fittings, and 32mm PVC pressure pipe and spigot fittings. 1" pipe actually has an outside diameter of 33.4mm.

1" pipes or spigot fittings (measuring 33.4mm outer diameter) will slot inside one end of this socket to be solvent welded, and 32mm pipes or spigot fittings will slot inside the other end.
